Everdell: Bellfaire
The king is throwing an unprecedented year-long event to commemorate the 100th year since Everdell’s founding. Come one, come all, to Everdell Bellfaire!
This expansion for Everdell offers several different gameplay modules, including:
- Components and rules for 5-6 players
- Player powers and resource boards
- A Bellfaire board with a new Market location
- Garland Awards, which are shared endgame goals
- New Special Event cards
As said Bellfaire comes equipped with multiple modules that players can mix-and-match with the base game. There is a little bit here for everyone. For example the new Special Event cards. They award you for having a certain amount of a single type of card in your city, and usually cost both a worker to be played as well as some number of resources to be paid, this make them less luck based than the Special Events in the base game. The Player Powers and the asymmetry that they bring to the table will also be loved by many players. Unlike the other expansions, Bellfaire does not increase the complexity but instead makes the game more approachable.
